- The OEM weights have a ramp end which will only cause issues with this cover and render it ineffective.
- Greatly strengthens the clutch by adding more support for the towers
- Overdrive cover allows the clutch to shift out further than factory
- This means you have much lower cruising RPM at higher speeds where the OEM setup stops shifting. It also helps clutch longevity by having a higher shift ratio, so you are not sitting in the same place on the clutch arm/clutch sheaves as long.
- Higher Top Speed: Top speed increases will greatly depend on vehicle load vs power, but normally 3-5 MPH extra can be seen with this overdrive cover.
- This cover is a big factor when clutching for a higher shift out RPM which gives you more power. Many times with higher RPM clutching you will see a slightly lower top speed as you hit the rev limit quicker. This overdrive cover will bring that back in most cases.
- Extensively tested to ensure it's the strongest cover on the market
- The OEM cast aluminum spring cover can easily break/crack when tightening the bolts especially using power tools. This happened on our shop vehicle. Since our cover plate is much stronger billet material, this would not be able to happen.
